Hello,
After reading the mentioned community page, I launched my own DIY project. The Birdlocked Mini had always given me two main headaches:
- Edema would develop when my foreskin got pressed against the cage structure.
- Pull-outs were possible while flaccid (I’m a grower rather than a shower—small in soft state, normal size when erect).
So here’s what I did: Living in Germany, I headed to “Obi” (a hardware store) and picked up “Obi Classic Universal Silikon Innen & Aussen, klar, 80ml” (Clear universal Silicone from a tube).
First off, I tackled the edema issue. I cut open the Birdlocked at its two ventilation holes and filled those cuts with silicone to widen them.
While working on it, I installed a metal locking pin ( “Schliessstift zum Aufnieten”, which needed trimming on the sides).
Next, I addressed the pull-out issue by applying a line of silicone to the top:
The results were better than I hoped. I wore it for three consecutive days without a hitch—no pinching, just perfect fit. Pulling out was possible with lube and some force, but getting back in would be nearly impossible. MISSION ACCOMPLISHED! Perhaps this offers you all an inexpensive way to fix your Birdlocked;)
