A couple of days back, I shared with my wife for the first time that I have a strong desire to wear chastity. I explained that sexual thoughts occupy me constantly throughout the day and expressed my wish to test out being in chastity. I mentioned how much reading on forums, blogs, and this specific site has shown me numerous benefits wives often report.
With three kids aged 9, 7, and 4—my wife stays home but also cuts hair here several times a week—stress levels are quite high. Whenever I request intimacy, she almost always declines; her own sexual urges are practically nonexistent, which makes it tough for both of us. I realize my anger at repeated rejections adds to her burden. My proposal is: if I enter chastity, will I obsess less over sex since I’ll know I can’t satisfy myself? We basically live in a Female-Led Relationship (FLR) minus the sexual dynamics. I contribute significantly—cooking, helping with homework, bathing and putting the kids to bed—all without needing reminders or orders, just as any good husband should. Even if I go into chastity, she likely won’t initiate sex; it’s been over a year since she did.
I also suggested we set rules, such as me not asking for sex while locked up. It feels easier to accept the lack of intimacy if there’s no option rather than constant rejection. I’ve been searching for stories similar to mine and believe counseling is appropriate for us, but I’m curious whether chastity could be helpful too. I just emailed her a site detailing male chastity benefits along with other relevant information.
The day after my confession, our truck’s transmission failed, costing nearly $3,000. I am being cautious about bringing up the topic again until things settle down because this expense hit us hard!
(Hopefully my story is organized enough, though it might feel a bit scattered.) I look forward to connecting with like-minded people and sharing/venting my journey.
