CB Range discussion

I put on a CB6000 and the skin gets pinched in the grooves. Does anyone have ideas? By “grooves,” I mean the long channels running along the length of the main cage, located just beyond where it connects to the spacers. My skin pokes through these openings and pinches often. I’ve attached a picture so you can see exactly what I’m talking about. Before anyone jumps in saying it’s likely one of the cheaper imitations (I bought mine directly from ), let me clarify: although it might be considered an “older” design, I purchased it within the last month. The images on their site for the CB-6000 clearly show those same grooves in their marketing videos.
