My wife/kh and I are considering picking up a smotherbox. Could anyone recommend an affordable model? We’re fans of the mlv selections, as well as this one:

Pursuing that style yields several choices, but how can you gauge quality without asking around? It feels like a topic that has surfaced before, though it seems to have been some time since we last discussed it.
