I am in my eleventh month of chastity play with my wife, and I find it gets easier to extend the duration as we continue. Previously, I would have anxiety attacks because I knew I was aroused but couldn’t reach an orgasm for another week or two. Now that doesn’t bother me at all. My role has shifted from working against my wife’s desire for long-term chastity to collaborating with her so she can control when I climax sooner than usual. We transformed from adversaries into partners.
This feels similar to quitting smoking. It took five tries, but each failed attempt taught me something. I learned what sensations to expect and how to handle them going forward. The same principle applies here: does it get easier for you as you do more of it, or is the struggle always difficult regardless? Being an older man helps since my libido isn’t what it was, nor is my performance ability compared to earlier years.:)
