After waiting for a few weeks, I finally received my MM Jailbird. It’s been great so far, though I have some worries. I’ve noticed different “flaccid” states: cold flaccid, normal, and what I like to call southern summer flaccid. I knew better than to measure when it was cold-flaccid, but I did anyway. When I’m out in the open or during super humid weather, my cage feels too wide and a bit long. But if I stay indoors at a regular temperature without breaking into a sweat, it fits perfectly. Does anyone else go through this? Should I consider having the cage shortened or shrunk? Also, worth mentioning that the ring size is spot on and the gap always looks good.
