For ages my wife has been nagging me about my addiction to computer porn and masturbation, complaining that I neglect her. She took me to a sex therapist who designed a treatment plan involving a medical device known as an anti-porn aide, which is typically referred to as a “chastity device.” Even though the video linked here is funny, it captures what I felt in the office.

Here are the steps I was instructed to follow:

  1. My wife would apply the anti-porn aide (the Break-In phase). She’d leave me at home and come back later that day to take it off.
  2. A porn filter would be installed on my computer, with her holding the password.
  3. To unblock the filter myself, I had to ask my wife, unless she went away for more than a day; in that case, the site stays open.
  4. If my wife isn’t keen on sex, she can just unlock the site. But if she wants intimacy, I must perform the act and reach an orgasm. If I’m not up for it, she applies the aide again. The device stays on until either the porn filter is turned off or we have sex.
  5. The aid remains in place only if my wife desires sex, I refuse, but still want access to the filtered site. She doesn’t need to climax herself; as long as I satisfy her and reach an orgasm, she’s good.
  6. My wife cannot say no to sexual contact with me.
  7. The therapist acts as the doctor (psychologist), while my wife takes on the role of nursing assistant. She looks after me but adheres strictly to the doctor’s orders, protecting me from websites.
  8. If I want porn, she must drop everything to unblock the filter or have sex with me. Same goes if I ask for the aide removal.

The first issue was fear; I hesitated letting my wife put the device on because I worried about losing the ability to orgasm. The therapist is sharp and anticipated this concern, reassuring me that being afraid of the device is part of the process. My wife mentioned earlier sessions showed men will do anything to escape it. The therapist explained that one breaking period transfers power from the porn site owners to my wife. I’d experience strong urges to masturbate orgasm-ically but would become fixated on her rather than the screen.

Since I wouldn’t let her apply the device in the private office area, she will help with this phobia next time.

After leaving, I pretended to wear it and felt like masturbation was impossible. I experienced significant anxiety and a strong desire to masturbate. Pretending helped get me horny, yet the thought of being unable to release made me physically nauseous that night. I pressed my member against a pillow and orgasmed—a feat usually requiring hands—though I wanted to keep them free. The therapist wasn’t exaggerating when she said men will do anything for removal.

I need to know if my wife’s power outweighs the pull of porn. She compared it to wild animal trainers who establish dominance immediately by showing they are in charge.

Next session involves overcoming this phobia. My wife will apply the device in the private area so I can get help from the therapist if anxiety strikes. Then she’ll drop me off at home but keep her cell phone on for emergencies. There is a set duration required, though it remains unknown to me.

The therapist noted that just as dogs love their feeder, men obsess over whoever controls and provides the orgasm. Since I must go through my wife for porn, device removal, and release, my focus shifts to her. My mindset will change. The immediate aim isn’t total abstinence from viewing porn, but re-engaging with a real woman. Years ago, without competitive hot lesbian cheerleader content, wives had no rivals. Internet tech currently favors the screen; the filter and aide counter this influence.

The core issue isn’t masturbation itself, but my inability to handle technology that humans haven’t evolved for.

During our private talk, I was told I have a caring wife who sometimes becomes power-hungry or manipulative when asked to remove the device. For instance, she might say, “OK, once this is done—if you helped—it would go faster.” Exploiting vulnerability like this is considered unethical behavior.

Some wives delay removal due to insecurity, disliking the loss of post-orgasm infatuation or wanting to keep their husband hornier. A warning sign is if she says, “I’m afraid to take it off because you’ll lose your love for me.” If this happens, call her office immediately; demands will escalate.

Also, use only plastic devices, not titanium. My wife received similar guidance while I was away. While we hope to stay with her current provider, if we switch therapists later, watch out for unethical ones with low credentials who effectively work for the paying wife and help manipulate the husband. If encountered, document everything and report it to the licensing board because “this is not a game.”

If I wear the device, safety monitoring by a urologist is necessary. The psychologist test indicated that if I view porn instead of having sex with my wife while wearing it, I will literally beg for removal. Once removed and after intercourse, porn re-blocks again. She claims 99.999% of men do anything to escape the device within five minutes of watching porn, so regular urology checks are unlikely.

One alternative is Viagra. Since my mental health is affected—I struggle with erections for real sex compared to masturbation—this seems relevant.

I plan to ask if I can skip the initial break-in phase and proceed directly. What do you think? How was your therapy experience? Is her advice sound?

Couples threads are logistics with feelings attached: what to write down, what to hand over, who pays for what, and how long any of it takes. Two of these pages are about the agreement itself, and the third is the honest answer about the calendar.
