I have a few questions for anyone wearing a belt with a rubber lining. I’m quite new to my belt and am still figuring out what I can do. However, I’ve noticed that the rubber liner meant to protect me from the metal is causing sores. The main spots are two points on my waist, halfway between my side and back on each side. It seems like the belt fits well everywhere else except those two areas. Has anyone else experienced sores from their belt? Did you manage to fix it? If so, how? Does the skin eventually toughen up against this kind of irritation? Or will I be constantly healing every couple of days while wearing it? I was thinking about adding a fleece lining inside the waistband to make it softer on my skin and prevent sores. But then I worry it might trap moisture after showering with the belt on. Can anyone offer some advice on how to move forward, perhaps suggesting something I haven’t considered or pointing me toward ways to make living in the belt more comfortable long-term? Thanks a lot.
