Mature Metal discussion

Hi everyone, I’m planning to upgrade from my current birdlocked device to a QK and wanted to ask about the spacing. Has anyone experienced too much pinching or found that the gap was simply too small when they stuck with the initial 1/4 spacing? I bring this up because, due to how my birdlocked is styled and the fact that I wear it for long periods, my body has stretched a bit. I’m worried that the standard 3/8 size might end up being too loose.
