Alright, I’ve been trapped inside a Mature Metal Jailbird for the past 56 hours non-stop. I bought this used unit from another member right here on the forum. The measurements are.. Base ring 2” diameter Cage ring 1-7/16” Cage length 3.5” Security screw security option Besides the security screw, I’m locked into the Jailbird via my PA piercing using the “captive” ring that was put back in by the piercer. To start with, it would have been nice to buy new, but with good cleaning, it’s no problem at all. Hopefully one day. The quality is ASTOUNDING!! “Work of art” springs to mind, followed closely by “piece of jewelry”. If I could stroll around naked just to display it, I think I absolutely would!! I came from the world of “the curve”, and my first impression comparing the Jailbird? It’s night and day. The internal dimensions on both devices are identical except that tube on the Jailbird is 1/2” shorter. This was PERFECT since I knew it matched well with a PA piercing. We were using the 2” ring on our Curve as well. The BIG difference lies in the outside measurements. With the curve, I couldn’t sleep face down without raising a knee due to its bulk. In the Jailbird, it feels like I’m not wearing chastity at all. No exaggeration!! Morning “wood” hasn’t been a problem either. There is some “expansion”, but nothing causing pain or side ache. How did Mature Metal pull that off?? The only genuine discomfort has come from the ring while working and from my PA getting pinched against the jailbird itself. I might just need a bigger ring, not certain yet since my nuts aren’t turning purple;) I think they’re still getting used to the situation (100psi). The PA was tricky when wearing briefs at work because of the constant support on the “tip”, leading to some involuntary pinching of the skin between the device and my PA. So today, I wore boxers and worked hard standing all day. I missed that extra support for the device, which caused the ring to rub against both inner legs. After 4 hours, I got accustomed to it and could feel the “dingle, dangle” of the PA ring again. So I reckon an oval-shaped ring might be better suited for my active job. So really, all the downsides (if they can even be called that) tie back to a potentially undersized ring and the PA itself. Without those two factors—which aren’t directly tied to the Jailbird’s design—it’s easily a 10+ device. Oh, how could I forget cleaning?? A DREAM!! Super easy, dries quickly, and applying Pur is simple. All parts are straightforward to reach. With the PA included, I’d rate it a 9, though it wasn’t strictly designed for that use. It’s more of an “added on” feature we implemented. But it was absolutely necessary in our scenario. Personally, if this setup works, I shouldn’t be able to escape solo. Basically, I’m locked down by two people: the piercer and my wife, LoL!! By the way, the piercer LOVED the device, saying it looked “hot”. Then, my wife agreed with a big smile after watching the “installation” go on. I suppose that helped stroke my ego a bit, which is good because nothing else seems to be getting stroked any time soon. LoL! Ahem, if you don’t mind me stating… Jailbird=9 out of 10. A “PA” option would make it a perfect 10 if available for locking you securely inside the device. -I
