Hello, I’m relatively new to the world of chastity. Or rather, let’s say I’ve been locked up for more than just a few hours at a time. I joined this forum hoping to find some guidance regarding my specific issue, which is mentioned in the thread title. Let me explain what’s going on and hope someone can assist, as I’ve looked around online but haven’t found much luck yet.

I’ve owned a metal cage for several years now (Stainless Steel Chastity Cock Cage from ExtremeRestraints), but I don’t wear it often. There are two main reasons: 1) It chafes my scrotum, even with the ring size that fits best. I originally thought this was due to the hinge at the bottom of the ring, but my scrotum gets extremely irritated regardless, even when flaccid. Also, 2) if I’m completely soft, it tends to slip off; the next smaller or smallest sizes won’t quite fit around them.

So, my wife and I decided to revisit chastity play, opting for a plastic device instead. After plenty of research, we chose the CB-6000. Once I received it and she fitted me with her chosen ring and spacer combination, I found it very comfortable initially. I put it on Friday morning and kept it in until Saturday evening. All day Friday was barely noticeable, but around 1:30 AM Saturday, night-time erections brought intense discomfort to my scrotum. It was painful yet pleasurable—well, you’d know that feeling.

Prior to our encounter later that evening, my wife had teased me enough times for a while, and by then the pain in my scrotum was overwhelming; it consumed all my thoughts. I didn’t see any unusual discoloration beyond normal, but even when going soft again, there remained sharp discomfort right beneath the balls. It felt like someone was pinching down hard.

I figured maybe I just needed to break it in, so I gave myself a day off. On Monday morning, my wife had left instructions for me to reapply it upon waking (she was at work). For a couple of hours, I managed semi-comfortably with the same setup as before, but irritation returned in that same spot. Fortunately, she’d left the key handy if adjustments were needed. So, I moved up one ring size and used the smallest spacer available. That didn’t solve the comfort issue either, so I also bumped the spacer to the next size up and decided not to tweak it further just to see how things settled.

I did adapt…until my wife came home and we went for a walk. We walked about 45 minutes, and by the time we returned, not only was the scrotum pain back, but a new, sharp ache in my gut (bladder area?) had escalated to severe levels. I wasn’t erect at all; the only thing on my mind was getting this device off my balls. It felt like pure torture. Luckily, she removed it that evening.

Since then, I’ve worn it for short periods a few times with similar, intense pain (not bladder-related) underneath the scrotum.

From what I understand about chastity wear, daily use should generally be comfortable unless one is erect, in which case some pain is expected. The latter part works well for me, but everyday wear hasn’t been pleasant because I’d like to stay physically active, yet this situation hinders that right now.

So here are my questions:

  • Should I just tough it out and get used to the chafing under the scrotum? There’s no skin breakage or bleeding. Also, as a bus driver, I can’t spend all day distracted by passive pain while focusing on passenger safety. If it were purely sexy or arousing, that would be fine, but since I’m not always turned on during wear, I feel there might be a way to fix this.
  • Does anyone else experience similar discomfort under the scrotum from normal daily wear? Or bladder issues?
  • Based on your experiences, what do you think are the causes and how can they be corrected?

Thanks for any advice! My wife and I really enjoy this lifestyle. I don’t want to let myself down by letting her down. -Hos

Couples threads are logistics with feelings attached: what to write down, what to hand over, who pays for what, and how long any of it takes. Two of these pages are about the agreement itself, and the third is the honest answer about the calendar.
