CB Range discussion

Hello, I own a standard CB6000 kit, and based on what I’ve learned from PansyTart’s thread about measuring cages plus my own experience, the usual cage length feels slightly large for “Mr Mischief” when he is relaxed. Therefore, I am considering purchasing a CB6000S model but really just require the cage itself. Still, the lowest price I have found in Britain is approximately £70, which isn’t much lower than what you pay for the complete set. Although… “the cheapest” might be misleading because there are several other “CB6000” options on eBay at a much better rate, including pink silicone versions (how lovely!). I tend to assume these are lesser quality replicas, yet I believe I have seen photos of members here who own them. Perhaps they offer good value despite being affordable? Does anyone know if there is another place in the UK that stocks CB6000S cages at a more reasonable cost? Also, do you think those eBay models are worth trying?
