It feels embarrassing to admit it, but when my wife instructed me to take Cialis the next morning, I felt a sharp pang of worry. I’ve written before about how being in chastity helps ease my performance nerves. If I’m locked up and pleasuring her, not keeping an erection doesn’t bother me much. Chastity gives me so much value, and this is definitely one of its key benefits for me. My wife hasn’t embraced my chastity with the same enthusiasm that some other wives or girlfriends seem to show yours. She wears a key, which I’m grateful for, but she isn’t very demanding sexually and rarely initiates an exchange of sexual energy. So when she mentioned Cialis last night, I quickly assured her we didn’t need intercourse as part of our sex life. She laughed happily, saying she loves having me inside her. Isn’t that a paradox? When she finally shows interest in sex, I get nervous! To give you the full picture: We often hug, but it’s usually an “affectionate” hug rather than a sexy one. Two nights ago, I was feeling particularly needy for sexual attention. I explained to her how important the difference is between those two types of contact for me. We both agreed that what would be ideal is if she could read my mind. And we also agreed that if she couldn’t guess, I needed to tell her exactly what I need. (Of course, the perfect scenario would be for her to want to do to me what I desire and for her to be hungry for my sexual attention.) We had a really good conversation—open and without blame. I kind of assume her invitation last night was a result of that talk. So here I am at 7:30 in the morning, with Cialis working its way through my system and my penis feeling ready to go. I feel better having shared what’s on my mind. Thanks for listening.

Where this goes next

Every thread on this board is somebody in the same few months of their life, told from different ends of it: the conversation that has not happened yet, the one that ended in tears, the drink that went well, and the weeks afterwards. The site has a page for each, and one account of an evening written while it was still fresh.
