Nearly twelve months back, my wife encountered a medical problem that has since been happily resolved. However, it wiped out her sexual desire entirely, dropping our active sex life to zero and leaving me quite frustrated.
We were already practicing chastity within our D/s dynamic, so I proposed wearing the JailBIrd whenever we spent time together. It might sound backwards at first glance, but my problem wasn’t masturbation; rather, being locked helped me manage the lack of intercourse by reminding me that it was her call to initiate.
Her libido is slowly coming back around. I’ve now suggested that it wouldn’t be fair if I enjoyed any sexual relief (via masturbation) until she feels ready to restart our mutually enjoyable sex life—which she definitely wants! She isn’t likely to take charge of ‘edging’ or delivering ‘ruined orgasms’ right now since her focus simply isn’t on sex at the moment. My persistent nagging about it has led to stressed conversations, which is why I want a change.
Consequently, I am locked 24/7 for an indefinite period, mostly by my own decision. My wife is perfectly happy with this arrangement.
My question is: how long might it take before my brain and body truly accept that she controls when we return to a sexually active life together?
I know everyone varies, but some idea of the timeline—days, weeks, or months—would be appreciated. My longest continuous lock was 14 days, though I’ve been doing daily ‘part-time’ chastity for several months.
