Feeling Awkward or Embarrassed Around My Wife While Wearing the Device

My wife is fairly traditional, but she realizes I have a kinkier side and grasps which things excite me even if they don’t do the same for her. She accepts this.

However, male chastity is completely baffling to her. She just doesn’t get why I want to be locked up with her holding the key. We’ve discussed it openly and exchanged emails about it. I have tried explaining that my wearing the device is a commitment to her, yet she finds the contraption itself off-putting, even if she tells me “if you want to wear that thing it’s your business”.

After dealing with so many hurdles and negative reactions from her as we eased into chastity, I decided to clear out everything and forget about it. That didn’t last long though.

Last week I ordered a new HT V2 to replace the ones I had discarded. It arrived today, so I am ready to start wearing again. I’ve realized that I missed having the device on, and at this point, my plan is to wear it for myself. This helps curb my masturbation and temptation to touch myself, plus I like the feeling of being locked in.

I guess my question is whether I should feel ashamed or embarrassed wearing it when she is around. Previously, she knew I was wearing it for various reasons and would see it occasionally lying next to the shower in the bathroom while I took a shower. This never seemed to bother her much, and she started accepting it, although she still wanted nothing to do with it during sex.

Even so, I never quite felt right wearing it naked (like in the bathroom) while she was present. Does anyone else feel this way, or is this just something I need to get over?
