I’ve managed to make my device shorter by crimping the rings together, and now I’m curious if anyone has ever tried using epoxy on a hinged ring—specifically gluing the hinge area along with the top part of the ring—to turn it into a solid piece? I was considering 5-minute Araldite or something similar, but I did wonder how that would feel against my skin.
