I’ve been married for 27 years to a wonderful wife, and I finally opened up about my desire to be submissive. After roughly two weeks of her giving me the silent treatment and saying she needs time to think, she has agreed: if I need a chastity device, I should get one. Given that her sex drive isn’t particularly high, this reaction was predictable. However, I worry she hasn’t fully grasped what wearing chastity means for both of us; she might assume I can just lock and unlock myself whenever it suits me. I don’t want to keep pestering her by bringing it up constantly, but I truly need her to take the reins. Does anyone have tips on how to handle this gently? It feels like I’ve laid my heart bare, and her hesitation is leaving me feeling quite exposed.
On another note, I’ve placed an order for sizing rings from MM. After doing plenty of research on various devices, I’m convinced a JB model will suit me best. If you believe there’s an even better starter device, please share your thoughts. My priorities are discretion, comfort, security, ease of hygiene, and aesthetics, in that specific order.
