Getting the Conversation Started...............

Last night I made the choice to write down my thoughts on D/s and chastity in an email to my partner, hoping it will kick off better dialogue between us. We struggle with talking about this face-to-face, or perhaps I’m just too scared to bring it up directly. Maybe I’ve overwhelmed her recently with books, web articles, and other material. My submissive side isn’t a new development for our bedroom dynamic, but my fascination with chastity is. Above all, I want to understand how she feels. Has anyone else here shared this kind of realization in writing? How did your wife or partner react? Direct conversation sometimes causes me to stumble over words, so an email gives me the space to organize my thoughts and make edits before sending it off. Once she reads it, hopefully our dialogue will improve.
