A friend of ours arrived eight years ago in a state of distress. She and her husband, who were also our friends, had recently split up and reconciliation seemed unlikely. As she kept talking, the issues with their sex life eventually surfaced.
She explained that he could only perform if they used one specific position; otherwise, he struggled. It frustrated her because even though he was married to her, he spent most of his time masturbating. I recall briefly considering mentioning this concept called male chastity which might help (though back then it was just a fantasy for me; I’d never tried it). But in the next breath, I dismissed the idea and we moved on.
Now I wonder what Melissa and I would say if faced with a similar scenario? Would or could we keep quiet about all the benefits MC has already brought to our marriage? I don’t think I’d want to stay silent. I do believe I’d be comfortable explaining it, along with how we practice it, for another couple’s benefit.
What do you think? Michael
